What is Barefoot Pathways?

Barefoot Pathways Transitional Training Center is a not for profit organization servicing the Latrobe Valley to support unemployed people to acquire the necessary skills required to find and sustain employment.  We provide a facilitated work environment where people who are unemployed are able to obtain every day skills to assist in finding a job including: communication, team work, personal development, customer service, computer skills and the like in a supportive and welcoming environment.

What is the Barefoot Pathways Book Collection Program?

As part of the program our attendees are seeking out used educational books in order to donate these books to a local correctional facility in hope of providing incarcerated people access to learning opportunities.  We are seeking out donations of all sorts of educational books to encourage community involvement and to help expand the range of educational material and programs for the local correctional facility.

During this book campaign, the attendees at Barefoot Pathways have had the opportunity to learn how to create websites, logo's and use social media platforms.
